Academic
Affairs Assessment Team (AAAT)
The Academic Affairs Assessment Team (AAAT) was formally
established in 2006. The purpose of the team is to
bring together assessment professionals from each of the
seven colleges, academic support units, and
administrative offices within Academic Affairs to
discuss assessment issues, share best practices and
collaboratively brainstorm solutions to common
assessment problems. Because of its large membership and
slightly different foci, the AAAT consists of two teams
that meet separately. The AAAT1 is comprised of
assessment professionals from the seven colleges and
meets monthly. The AAAT2 is comprised of assessment
professionals from the academic support units and
administrative offices within Academic Affairs and meets
once each semester. The Director of Assessment, Cathy
Sanders, chairs the AAAT.
