
ADED 6141. Adult Learners and Adult Learning. (3G) Examination of characteristics of adult learners and adult learning with attention to factors that affect learning ability, motivation and achievement; and also determine appropriate responses of adult educators, educational institutions and other agencies. (Spring)
ADED 6143. Planning, Conducting and Evaluating Adult Programs. (3G) Field-centered investigation of adult education programs conducted by various organizations, agencies and groups as a primary, supplemental or complementary function. Emphasis on the theoretical foundations upon which the programming process is predicated; developing a theoretical model and acquiring the conceptual tools necessary for analyzing the programming process; and on conducting effective evaluations in any adult education organization. (Fall)
ADED 6144. Methods and Techniques for Adult Learners. (3G) Analysis of methods and techniques available for working with adults and their applicability in a variety of circumstances. Group participation in the various methods and techniques will be required. (Spring)
ADED 6476. Seminar and Internship in Adult Education. (3G) Prerequisite: permission of department. Supervised experiences in school or non-school teaching or training with an emphasis on developing skills as an educational professional. Offered only on a Pass/No Credit basis. (Fall, Spring)
