Prerequisite: permission of the student's adviser and an appropriate
individual study director. Designed to permit students to examine
specific educational/human services literature or develop special
projects under the direction of a faculty member. May be repeated
for credit with Departmental approval. Offered only on a Pass/No
Credit basis. (Fall, Spring, Summer)
TESP 5000. Selected Topics in Teaching Specialties. (W) (1-3)
(1-3G) Prerequisite: permission of department. Seminars, independent
study and clinical experiences. May be repeated for credit as
topics vary and with departmental approval. (Fall, Spring,

TESP 6000. Topics in Teaching Specialties. (1-3G) Prerequisite:
permission of department. Examination of selected areas of interest
in the education profession. May be repeated for credit as topics
vary and with departmental approval. (Fall, Spring, Summer)
TESP 6470. Clinical Experience. (3G) Prerequisite: permission
of department. Program of experiential learning activities in
the student's level and/or area of academic concentration in an
approved school setting. (Fall, Spring)
TESP 6476. Seminar and Internship in Teaching Specialties.
(3G) Prerequisite: permission of department. Supervised experiences
in school or non-school teaching or training with an emphasis on
developing skills as an educational professional. Offered only
on a Pass/No Credit basis. (Fall, Spring)
TESP 6800. Individual Study in Teaching Specialties. (1-3G)

to conduct research on selected topics, examine specific educational/human
services literature, and develop special projects under the direction

TESP 7840. Individual Project. (3G) Prerequisite: permission
of department. In consultation with a faculty adviser, the student
will identify and solve a problem in a specific area related to
student's level and/or area of academic concentration. (On
