Women's Studies is an academic pursuit devoted to the collection of information and the development of theories about women's roles and contributions to society. The goal of the Women's Studies Program is to provide an educational program that examines genderrelated issues across cultures and across disciplines. The Program offers courses in Women's Studies and presents lectures and conferences on gender issues in business, the humanities, the sciences and the social sciences.
The minor in Women's Studies is designed to allow students to pursue an interdisciplinary and multicultural study of women's experience and contributions while fulfilling the academic requirements for one of the approved University degree programs.
