CONTINUING ENGINEERING STUDIES
The William States Lee College of Engineering sponsors various
special educational programs for practicing engineers, technologists,
technicians, and others in addition to its regular academic degree
programs and courses. These include conferences, short courses,
seminars, and other continuing education programs designed to
aid those practicing in the technical professions and occupations
to keep abreast of the latest developments in the rapidly expanding
technology. The courses listed below are offered on a periodic
basis, while many others are offered on demand.
PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING-BASICS. Forty-five hours of work
reviewing mathematics, chemistry, economics and the basic engineering
sciences as preparation for the Professional Engineering Fundamentals
(EIT or Exam I) Examination.
PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING-APPLIED. Fifty- five hours of work
reviewing applications in chemical, civil, electrical and mechanical
engineering and engineering economics as preparation for the Professional
Engineering Principles and Practice (PE or Exam II) Examination.
