A student who exceeds the allowed difference in progression hours and hours earned will
be placed on probation. A student who has failed to achieve good
standing by the end of two successive semesters on probation (excluding
summer sessions) will be suspended. The maximum number of hours
that a student may attempt to earn a bachelor's degree is 180
hours, or 30 hours beyond the hours required for the degree, whichever

Hours earned are defined as all hours for which a student is awarded credit.
Progression Hours are defined as all hours for which a student registers for credit plus hours equivalent to transfer hours earned and hours earned through credit by examination. They include:
