
Interinstitutional Degree Programs


INTERINSTITUTIONAL MASTER'S DEGREE PROGRAMS
The University of North Carolina at Charlotte
participates in two interinstitutional master’s
degree programs: the Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) with the University of North Carolina
at Chapel Hill which confers the degree, and the Master of Library Science
(M.L.S.) with the University of North Carolina at Greensboro which confers the degree.
INTERINSTITUTIONAL DOCTORAL DEGREE PROGRAMS
The University of North Carolina at Charlotte
participates in an interinstitutional degree program,
the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in engineering degree program, with North Carolina State University
which confers the degree.
Other Courses Carrying Graduate Credit
Several departments within the College
of Arts and Sciences, the College of Business
Administration, and the College of Education
offer courses carrying graduate credit in areas that do not offer a graduate
degree program.
Areas of study, listed alphabetically, are: African-American and African
Studies, Anthropology, Communication Studies, Foreign Languages (French,
German, and Spanish), Philosophy, Political Science, Religious Studies, and
Women's Studies.
