EIST 4135. Audiovisual

Junior standing or departmental approval.
Overview of traditional and emerging audiovisual media for education,
training, marketing, and public relations, emphasizing knowledge and skills for
evaluating, designing, producing, and using media such as photography,
television, displays, interactive video, and microcomputers to enhance
communication. (On demand)
EIST 4140. Educational Television.
(3) Prerequisite: Junior standing or
departmental approval. An examination of traditional and
emerging applications of telecommunications media for teaching, training and
informing. Investigation
of published research and current strategies for evaluating the social and
educational impact of television. Students will evaluate, design,
produce, and utilize telecommunications media in micro-teaching settings, for
the enhancement of communication in their respective disciplines. (On demand)
