The web version of UNC Charlotte's Undergraduate Catalog is based on the current edition of the official printed publication, published in June 2007. 

From time to time, policies do change mid-year.  When necessary those changes are incorporated into the current catalog text.  Updated course offering information replaces the original (online only) as it is approved by the appropriate channels (i.e., course additions, changes, and deletions are updated after they are approved by the Undergraduate Course and Curriculum Committee).  This type of document ensures that current and prospective students, faculty, and staff are receiving the most current information regarding the University.  However, some of the web pages remain stagnant and are changed only after the new printed publication has been implemented (every two years).  For specific requirements for your major or program, please refer to the PDF copy of the Undergraduate Catalog of the year that you entered UNC Charlotte.  

Additionally, sometimes minor changes are made to correct errors in the catalog text.  A page of Catalog Errata/Corrections has been established to document these changes throughout the year.
