The UNC Charlotte Diversity Web Site
was created by the University’s Instructional Success
in Classrooms with Diversity Planning Committee with
assistance from the COAS Technology Solutions Team.
The Instructional Success in Classrooms
with Diversity Planning Committee was appointed by
Chancellor James Woodward on December 2, 2003 and
reports to Provost Joan Lorden. One of projects of
the committee is the creation, maintenance, and expansion
of the UNC Charlotte Diversity Web Site.
This web site is for the entire university
community and for other guests who visit this web
site. Our goal is to make accessible from one web
page as many as possible of the university’s resources
related to diversity and to provide links to relevant
resources at other web sites.
The Instructional Success in Classrooms
with Diversity Planning Committee supports the following
statement on diversity:
UNC Charlotte strives to create an
academic climate in which the dignity of all individuals
is respected and maintained. Therefore, we celebrate
diversity that includes, but is not limited to ability/disability,
age, culture, ethnicity, gender, language, race,
religion, sexual orientation, and socio-economic
status.

or links for this web site are welcome and can be
