Inner-City Corridor Economic Development Feasibility Study (February 2007)The Latin American Coalition and the UNC Charlotte Urban Institute are pleased to present this first Needs Assessment of Charlotte-Mecklenburg’s Latino Community. With financial support from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, researchers spent over 11 months in 2005-06 surveying nearly 500 members of the Latino community, interviewing over 230 service providing agencies and organizations, and reviewing numerous local, state, and federal data sources.
